CSHS graduates Michael Ely, Ammar Marimutu, and Matt Neil's parody of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was honored as a featured part of the Scene First Student Film Festival in Wilmington, N.C.


Air Force JROTC 2006-2007 won the Distinguished Unit Award, they performed above and beyond normal expectations.  They have distinguished themselves through outstanding service to their school and community.
 


Brittnew Shaked was the "Best in Show Winner" at the AP Superintendents Art Show and she is going to be featured on TeenTalk on BECON May 11th at 2:30pm. 
 


Congratulations to our Colt Band indoor color guard also known as the Winter Guard.  They received first place trophies in their classification at six out of nine regional competitions including first place at South Florida Winter Guard Association championship.


Coral Springs High School graduate Billy Lush is the star of a new NBC drama, Family Above All The Black Donnelleys.  From the Oscar-Winning writers of Crash and Million Dollar Baby.  Mondays at 10 PM.  Billy graduated in 1999, born in New Haven, CT and raised in Margate since the age of 8.  He attended FSU for 2 years and then moved to CT with his dad.  He worked 2 jobs and saved every penny in order to move to NYC 4 months later.  He was persistent and determined to find a job and make his dreams come true.  He bartended, took acting classes, found an agent, and auditioned over and over again.  After making his way around NYC for 3 years, he moved to Hollywood, CA, in 2004, where he resides now.
