  • Our school will participate in annual food drive...

    Our school will be participating in the "Ruth W. Shapiro March for the Hungry" community wide food drive in March. Please remeber to bring in to school non-perishable food items such as rice, peanut butter and canned meats. Dates of this event are March 2nd through March 15th. There will be fliers distributed prior to the event.

    All food collected will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, W.E.C.A.R.E, Cooperative Feeding Program, and the Family Resouce Center, in Coral Springs.

    NCJW University Section based in Coral Springs and Parkland is sponsoring this food drive.

    Thank you for helping to feed the hungry in our community!

  • Diabetes Walk-a-Thon
    The Diabetes Walk-a-Thon is an event to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research

  • MS Walk-a-Thon
    The MS walk Raises Money For Multipule Sclerosis

  • Broward Beach Clean Up
    This Event Is Held Every Year To Help Clean Up Our Shores And Waterways

  • SCORE Tutoring
  • Score Tutoring is held in room 1003 and 1004 everyday after school to help students who need tutoring.
  • Relay For Life
    This activity benefits the American Cancer Society (ACS) and is held from a Friday evening at 6 p.m. and the participants stay overnight until 12 noon the next day. A survival walk and memorial ceremony is held at 7 p.m. to remember cancer victims.

  • Diabetes Boots
    A wall of contribution is displayed for those people who have supported and contributed to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

  • Angel Tree
    Angel Tree is an event sponsored by the Salvation Army to give under privileged children a present of their choice and clothing appropriate for their age group.

  • Peanut Butter Collection
    The Peanut Butter Collection event is to provide peanut butter jelly sandwiches to the homeless.

  • Food Drive

    Collect food sevral times a year to feed the homeless.

     

  • Soda Top Drive - (City of Hope, Ronald McDonald)
    The little tab you pull to open your can of soft drink, juice or tuna can make a significant impact on the Ronald McDonald House. The organization recycles the tabs to generate funds to offset house expenses. By collecting the tabs and returning them to the Ronald McDonald House, you will help care for the future families who will stay at the House each day. Great project for schools, clubs or other large groups, as well as individual families.

  • Becca's Closet - a dress bank providing dresses and formal accessories to high school girls wanting to attend their prom/homecomming, but who did not have the resources to purchase them.

  • Cell Phone Drive - Collecting old and used cell phones to donate to Women in distress.

  • Habitat for Humanity - Habitat for Humanity of Broward, the local Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit orgranization dedicated to the elimination of poverty housing from our community. Since it's inception in 1983, Habitat Broward has successfully built over 200 homes which have significantly impacted the lives of over 1,100 children and adults as well as provided safe, decent shelter for families in need throughout Broward County.
