The 2010-2011 District 7 Theme: "007: Codename Thespian" The Coral Springs High Drama Department had 12 nominations and 2 wins at the Cappies, a Critic Awards Program. Marcus Levine won Junior Critic and the team of Annie Okonski, Briana Rittersporn, Marcus Levine, Melissa Day, and Arielle Hoffman won on the Cappies Team category. Florida Thespian Festival results: Jordan Cohen - Superior Monologue, Arielle Hoffman - Superior Student Directed Scene, Little Red Riding Hood and the Power Mutants One-Act - Execellent. Welcome to Coral Springs High School's Drama Club! We meet every 1st and 3rd Monday after school in room room 805. Latest Drama Minutes (.PDF) Congratulations to the students who participated at the district 7 Indivudual Events. Our One-Act play, Little Red Riding Hood (and the Power Mutants) won a superior ratings and was selected to perform at the Florida State Thespian Festival in April. Last Saturday our theatre students, Thespian Troupe 704, won straight superiors for their one act play "Not a Creature Was Stirring". Our play was directed by junior, Arielle Hoffman. The cast won best ensemble and Sarah Fuhrman won the all star cast award. This is our third consecutive year receiving a superiors and the second consecutive year winning the state selected slot. Please congratulated our awesome theatre students. Our Thespians won superior ratings for their one act play, Not a Creature Was Stirring. directed by Arielle Hoffman. Shan Rustam and Marcus Levine won the tech challenge. Marcus Levine, Arielle Hoffman, Jordan Cohen, Kyle Edwards and Kendall Gluare all won excellent awards for their individual performances last week.
