Universally accepted as 
Coral Springs High School's most venerated and prestigious area of academia, the Debate Club offers students the opportunity to develop oratory and public speaking skills, increase their fluid intelligence, study polarized philosophical and historical figures, and expand their knowledge of international current events in an exciting experience. If competitive debate does not interest you, maybe the forensic and acting counterpart will. With events ranging from extemporaneous speaking to Lincoln-Douglas style philosophical debates to even dramatic interpretations of published literature, debate offers something for everyone!
The Debate Team performed admirably at the Blue Key Speech and Debate Tournament at the University of Florida this past weekend. As always, Feyaad Allie led the way by breaking into the elimination rounds of the tournament and placing as the 4th overall speaker out of the hundreds of competitors from all around the country. Make sure you congratulate him when you see him!
