Lt Col Pallazza retired from the United States Air Force on April 30, 1999. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration from Saint Michael's College, Winooski, Vermont, and received his Second Lieutenant's commission through the college's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program in May 1976. Upon completing both, navigator and advanced navigator/bombardier training at Mather Air Force Base, California and Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Lt Col Pallazza became an instructor navigator/bombardier while in Guam, and then moved to Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, and transitioned into the B-1B aircraft. While stationed at Grand Forks Air Force Base, he was in charge of the Bombing and Navigation Department. Subsequently, Lt. Col. Pallazza worked at Command headquarters at Offnut Air Force Base, Nebraska and Langley Air Force Base, Virginia in the intelligence career field. During this timeframe, he served as the commander of the United State National Intelligence Center at Vicenza, Italy, in support of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Bosnian Operations, United States Southern Command, located at Quarry Heights, Panama, and later in Miami, Florida, where he led several teams responsible for directing, planning and coordinating military and professional military education includes graduation from Squadron Officer College, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. He currently holds a Masters Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Lt. Col. Pallazza's numerous awards and decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal. After retirement, Lt. Col. Pallazza was employed by Renaissance Cruises at the corporate headquarters, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, working in the Training and Recruiting Department. In November 2001, Lt. Col. Pallazza became the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor and Department Head for the Coral Springs High School, Florida, Junior ROTC program. He is married to the former Ms. Kelly Cox of Forth Worth, Texas and they have one daughter, Katheryne, a recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.

Master Sergeant Michael W. Griffin

Master Sergeant Michael W. Griffin is an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) Aerospace Science Instructor for Coral Springs High School. In his role, Master Sergeant Griffin educates and trains high school cadets in citizenship, provides instruction in leadership fundamentals, promotes community service, and instills responsibility, character and self-discipline. Prior to his assignment as an Aerospace Science Instructor, Sergeant Griffin is a native of Georgia and graduated in 1986 from Campbell High School, located in Smyrna, Georgia. He entered the Air Force in August of 1986 and completed the Morse Intercept Operator Course, Fort Devens, Massachusetts and the Multi-Mode Systems Operator Course, Fort Meade, Maryland in July 1987. Sergeant Griffin began his Air Force career at RAF Chicksands, England where he was assigned to the 6950th Electronic Security Squadron; there he provided intelligence collection through the use of multi-mode collection position. In January 1990, at the end of his tour there, MSgt Griffin retrained into the Personnel Management career field and completed the Personnel Systems Technical School at Keesler Air Force Base, located in Biloxi, Mississippi. Following this assignment, Sergeant Griffin returned to the intelligence career field and was assigned to the 690th Intelligence Squadron, Misawa AB, Japan. There he became the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC) of the newly developed automated morse code collection position. In June of 1996, Sergeant Griffin returned to Fort Meade, this time as part of the National Security Agency (NSA). While assigned to the NSA, Sergeant Griffin worked as a Multi-mode Systems Collection Supervisor, an official escort for the Protocol Office and as Chief of Office Management for the Director's newly formed S.K.U.N.K Works Team. In May of 1999, Sergeant Griffin cross-trained into the recruiter career field. He served as an Enlisted Programs Recruiter in Greensboro, NC from 1999 to 2002 and an Officer Accessions Recruiter from 2002 to 2004 in Grand Forks, ND. Sergeant Griffin returned to the personnel career field in 2004 and served as the Chief of Customer Support at Grand Forks AFB. In 2006 Sergeant Griffin was assigned to the Armed Forces Radiobiologic Research Institute in Bethesda, MD. There he finished his military service as the NCOIC of the Administrative Support Department. Master Sergeant Griffin's career highlights include winning the John Levitow Award, the Military Citizenship Award, Senior Recruiter Badge, Airman of the Quarter, NCO of the Quarter, and numerous letters of recognition. Sergeant Griffin also completed the Noncommisioned Officer Preparatory Course, Noncommisioned Officer Leadership School, and the Noncommisioned Officer Academy. Sergeant Griffin retired from the Air Force in August 2007; he is married and has three children.
