Tennis Teams!

Congratulations to the boys team who came in second under Douglas. Boys team will be going to Regionals on Tuesday. Senior Brandon Macknofsky and Frashmen Tre House made it to the final round in their singles and doubles matches. Junior Jason Petusevsky and Freshmen Leonardo Gutierrez advanced to the semi final round and senior Garrett Mabel and made it through to the final quarters. High school Tennis is a Spring sport and runs from February through April. Information about playing competitive tennis for high school is available from the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and can be viewed at http://www.fhsaa.org/tn/ Students interested in playing for the Colts' tennis teams should contact the coaches for information regarding the required documents, player skill level/rating, the physical conditioning schedule, and addition information about the team. Competitive tennis is a rigorous sport. Although Coral Springs High School runs a "No-Cut" program, all players interested in participating in competitive matches must participate in regular challenge matches with other members of the team, in order to determine the seeding of the players. Your presence at the scheduled practice sessions is mandatory. We are in the process of developing a summer program, though it may not be available until summer of 2010.
