There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all girls trying out for the 2008-2009 team on Wednesday, October 8, after school in the cafeteria. ALL paperwork must be turned in at that time if you plan on attending the tryouts. The tryouts begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday October 13, out in the stadium. Congratulations to junior defender Catalina Quintana on being selected First Team All-County by the Sun-Sentinel and the Miami Herald. Also receiving post season recognition were freshman goalie Jenna Boergma to the Second Team, senior defender Heather Brice to the Third Team; senior midfielder Emily Moseley, senior forward Morgan Douglass, junior forwards Brooke McMann and Nicole Murphy, and freshmen defenders Sarah Moseley and Abby Howe for honorable mention.

Senior Emily Moseley recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer next year at Appalachan State University in Boone, North Carolina. The Mountaineers are regarded as one of the outstanding soccer programs in the country.
